Adel, thanks for using the app. If you read the explanation, actually we did count when adding the momentum imparted by the force for 2s. But since A is originally at rest, v=0 and mv = 0. So the resulting momentum of cart A is coming only from F *∆t =3N * 2s, or 6kg m/s.
