Why is the answer not c

Even in mags one can place picture ads of things that audience like. In TVs one can make a mistake of placing ads using pictures that the audience dislike. So, not C.

Why is the answer not a?

Marisa, the key phrase is "linked, with pictorial help RATHER THAN exclusively through prose, to things about which they already have positive attitudes".

So we should look for answers that affirmatively include pictorials. A only says "little or no prose". It doesn't say anything about including pictorials.

That was quite confusing. My initial thought was C but I see why D is the answer.

D and E seem very similar. Why is the answer E instead of D?
Posted: 08/12/2013 16:57
Coia, D contains information not mentioned at all in the problem, i.e., contrasting to a competitor's product. E is more correct.

Why wasn't the answer B?

Zoe, you are supposed to provide a conclusion based on the given premise. Choice B is a slightly modified restatement of the premise.
